STUDY MEDICAL ULTRASOUND IN ARIMA, TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO
 
Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound is an exciting Health Care Professional field that has experienced tremendous growth over the last 10 – 15 years. The practice of Ultrasound provides an invaluable non-harmful service to patients in the health care setting.
 
Ultrasound Imaging can be used to:
 
·        Examine the body’s internal organs
·        Guide the doctor in cases of invasive procedures
·        Examine the pregnant and non- pregnant female
 
It is in these areas that education and training is being offered presently at the College of Ultrasound Sciences.

·        Those with an initial qualification and previous experience in Health-Oriented professions (e.g. Nurses, Radiographers, Pharmacy technologist)
·        Candidates with B.Sc./M.Sc. qualification in a suitable subject
·        Mature entry candidates (Acceptance based on suitability after interview and testing)
