The Society of Radiographers of Trinidad & Tobago held its Annual General Meeting 2011 on Saturday April 30th. The event took place at the Radiology Department, Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, Mt. Hope.
A number of persons turned out to hear the various reports from the executive committee members. Reports from the President (presented by Vice President, Aneesa Ali), the Treasurer (presented by Committee Member, Aleth Bruce) and the ISRRT Council Member (Anushka Kattick-Mahabirsingh) were read.
There were thorough discussions on the minutes of AGM 2010 and issues arising out of it.
There was also a healthy discussion on continuing education such as presentation of Research Papers done by graduating students at the COSTAATT. Apart from education, work related issues were another topic of discussion. Mention was made regarding election of a representative of Radiographers in Public Servant Association (PSA).
Elections followed the various discussions with a new executive committee being installed with some members returning to the committee. The Society was thankful to Estella Walcott for participating as the election officer for the proceeding.

The vice president congratulated all new members after the elections and gave some words of encouragement. The AGM ended in the late afternoon.
