Initial Image Interpretation of the
Appendicular Skeleton
W E B B A S E D S H O R T C O U R S E
Following the successful introduction of an international pilot scheme, a web based short course in Initial Image Interpretation of the Appendicular Skeleton is now being launched. The structured course, which focuses on radiographic appearances in the trauma setting, is intended to update skills which will be of value to radiographers and/or other healthcare practitioners to further aid immediate patient management.
START DATE
The short course will be available approximately twice per year.
Applicants will need to have the support of a radiologist mentor and their employer.
DELIVERY OF THE COURSE
The short course material can be used purely as a web based resource, however, if there is sufficient interest from within a particular country or region then a short two day introductory block can be delivered in the locality by experienced staff from this university.
OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE
On successful completion of the short course a CPD Certificate (endorsed by the College of Radiographers) will be issued.
COST OF THE COURSE
The course fees are £380 per participant which includes access to all online learning materials and email support from academic staff.
Bespoke packages, including a visit from academic staff may be available on request.
